2021 – CSR School

For a third consecutive year, in 2021 CSR HELLAS, in cooperation with the University of Crete and ALBA Graduate Business School with the support of the Centre of Excellence for Sustainability of the American College of Greece, organized the Corporate Sustainability & Responsibility School (June-July 2021).

The CSR School provides advanced training regarding the identification of sustainability-related business opportunities and the inclusion of responsibility in the core of one’s business strategy, in order to achieve sustainable value and formulate a more resilient organization.

The training program is envisioned as a journey covering all major identified areas that relate to the responsible management of sustainability. Within 6 weeks, during which a minimum of 48 hours of sustainability-related knowledge and management experience are shared, trainees gain an up-to-date overview of major developments around the largest environmental, social and governance challenges affecting businesses nowadays.

During the 12-part Webinar series, the participants attend lectures by distinguished academic faculty members, discuss relevant case studies, learn about best practices that have been implemented by experienced senior professionals and exchange views and thoughts around the incorporation of relevant theory into the CSR initiatives of their own organization.

The thematic areas that were covered in the 12 webinars of the 2021 CSR-School implementation were the following:

3. Legal aspects of CSR
4. Responsible human capital management
5. Responsibility and sustainability driven marketing
6. Climate change and energy transition
7. Circular business models
8. Sustainable supply chain management
9. Social capital, corporate relationships and stakeholders management
10. Servant leadership towards responsibility and sustainability
11. Sustainable finance and responsible banking
12. Future of work

The programme addressed professionals who wished to gain more in-depth knowledge about corporate sustainability and responsibility, as well as undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students.
