The EcoFashionEU project (101087205) is a project co-funded by the European Union and implemented for a period of 18 months (from 15.11.22 – 15.05.24) by a consortium of partners with the Athens Chamber of Small and Medium Sized Industries (ACSMI) as lead partner and CSR HELLAS as senior sustainability expert. ATHINEA, Christiana Vardakou, Pepper Vally and A Place to Dress Strangers are also participating in the pilot implementation of the project.
The aim of the project is to enhance the level of maturity of SMEs in the fashion industry in terms of sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
Actions:
Implementation and mapping of the existing level of maturity in sustainability matters by using the ETHOS tool, developed by CSR HELLAS in cooperation with the member company EUROCERT
Results Report and Feedback
Field survey in the sector and presentation of results
Industry-specific adaptation of the tool and implementation in the 4 project partners
Extension to at least 12 additional enterprises in cooperation with the ACSMI
Development of a 35 hour synchronised or non-synchronised training programme on essential sustainability topics
Second implementation of the sectoral ETHOS in the 4 partners and comparison of results
Participation in discussion and consultation workshops with stakeholders (NGOs & CSOs)

Formulation of the sectoral ETHOS specialised in the fashion sector
Contribution to Policy Recommendations regarding the sector
