At the same time, we support society and the local communities in which we operate and its people through actions and initiatives that aim to improve daily life as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy.
Bwin has been making significant contribution to sports in Greece by supporting clubs, European competitions, events, and individual athletes. As of 2018, bwin is the Major Sponsor of Olympiacos B.C. and one of the main sponsors of Europe’s top basketball competition, the “EuroLeague Basketball”.

Bwin’s contribution to the local communities is particularly important. Through dozens of targeted actions and corporate social responsibility initiatives, we ensure a better, more sustainable future for society. During the past years bwin:
- Implemented 67 social responsibility initiatives.
- Provided help to 57 local communities
- Supported 117,697 children and young people, as well as their families.
- Was involved in 210 hours of voluntary work through its employees.
- Supported 21 well-known Institutions, Associations, NGOs and Organizations.
- Traveled 2,500 nautical miles for humanitarian purposes.
- Covered 45,000 kilometers to provide social aid.
- Offered 150 tons of food.
Moreover, in cooperation with Hellenic Olympic Committee bwin supports 18 talented individual athletes who strive every day to achieve their goals and qualify for the Tokyo Olympics.
