The Coffee Island company started in 1999 in Patras out of love for quality coffee. In 2009 we envisioned something innovative and original; creating a new experience for quality coffee in hand. From 1999 until today, the magical journey into the world of coffee offered us special surprises. All these years the goals, the plan and the strategy have changed, but our vision and values ​​remain unchanged. Our daily promise is:

Today Coffee Island is a multinational chain of coffee roasters that counts 481 coffee roasters in Greece, Cyprus, the United Kingdom, Canada, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland and now Romania.

We employ 250 people throughout the Organization.

Our head office is in Patras where, apart from our offices, there is a production factory where all the processing of the coffee is done, its packaging, its storage and finally the shipment to all our partners.

We offer high quality products to our consumers in the categories of Espresso, Filter, Greek. We reward those who work for the coffee we offer to the final consumer (“From Bean To Cup”), the producers, the workers, the franchisees, the Baristas and the distributors.

We are committed to knowledge, innovation and coffee excellence. We are members of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) and 3 company executives hold the SCA Coffee Diploma Award. Innovation is the only way to actually return love, appreciation and trust to coffee lovers.

We believe in a fair way of doing business (Direct Trade), that is, creating mutually beneficial relationships with producers on the best coffee farms in the world. We want each of our activities to contribute to the economic, environmental and social sustainability of the places from which we import our coffee.

In order to ensure that the product is of the highest quality we cooperate with almost all coffee producing countries, but also with small farms.

We believe in people and we reward them every day, from the farmers on the farms to our employees, our partners and our consumers.

We implement and develop initiatives addressing social and environmental challenges, supporting local communities and encouraging partnerships in responsible entrepreneurship.

With the mission of creating long-term values ​​for our entire chain, we focus on three strategic pillars of Sustainable Development, (People-Planet-Product) through people we commit to managing the positive and negative effects created by our business model, contributing at the same time to the Sustainable Development Goals of the U.N.
