Enterprise Greece (EG) is the official agency of the Greek State, under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, promoting investment and exports and enhancing Greece’s appeal as an international business partner.
As the national Investment Promotion Agency, EG attracts, welcomes, promotes, supports, and retains investments in Greece. It positions Greece as a desirable investment destination through marketing and strategic outreach. EG serves as a one-stop shop for investors, providing essential information, support in accessing funds, and offering the Investor Ombudsman service. Additionally, EG is evaluating all applications for the Greek Strategic Investment (Fast Track) regime.
As the national Trade Promotion Organization, EG boosts the international presence of Greek products and services through marketing campaigns, specialized events, and training sessions for SMEs on various subjects, including ESG criteria adoption. EG provides guidance, assistance, and resources to Greek producers and entrepreneurs, helping them access international markets and connect with global partners. The agency organizes national pavilions at international trade shows, supports Greek companies’ participation, briefs foreign buyers about the Greek market, and hosts foreign delegations in Greece.
Enterprise Greece collaborates with various stakeholders and networks, domestically and internationally, to promote Greek exports and attract investments.
Enterprise Greece is a founding member and Board member of Trade Promotion Europe, an association of 32 national and regional Trade and Agrifood Promotion Organizations from 21 EU countries, providing vital information and connections to European policies and exporters. EG is Board member of the ANIMA Investment Network, fostering economic development cooperation across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa with 70 member organizations from 20 countries. Furthermore, EG sits on the Board of the International Network of SMEs and maintains a robust collaboration with EBAN and HeBAN. EG is a member of the OECD’s IPA (Investment Promotion Agencies) network, enhancing its international cooperation and policy alignment.
