Since 1971, Genepharm has had a clear mission: the development of reliable medicines that contribute to the treatment of diseases and the protection of human health.

The company has established a strong presence in both the Greek and international markets, through the development, production, and distribution of certified generic pharmaceutical products in more than 90 countries.

At its state-of-the-art, privately owned manufacturing plant in Pallini, Attica, covering 14,000 square meters, Genepharm operates two separate advanced production lines for conventional and oncological solid dosage forms, designed in full compliance with European GMP standards.

With deep expertise in both conventional formulations and advanced technologies, Genepharm provides solutions across a wide range of therapeutic categories, including cardiology, diabetology, oncology, urology, antipsychotic medications, and more.

Production Capacity:

  • Conventional solid forms: 600 million tablets and 40 million capsules

  • Oncological solid forms: 130 million tablets and 10 million capsules

ESG Policies & Sustainability

Our commitment to the principles of sustainability and corporate responsibility is an integral part of our strategy and culture, ensuring that our growth is achieved with respect for people, society, and the planet.

1. Environmental Responsibility – Reducing our environmental footprint and ensuring sustainable business practices:

  • We have reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 7.22%.

  • We implement energy-efficient practices and modern recycling programs across all our facilities.

  • We are ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certified, applying integrated Environmental and Energy Management Systems.

  • We have reduced energy consumption per unit of produced product, improving the efficiency of our production process.

  • We operate photovoltaic systems with a capacity of 250 KVA, covering 7%–10% of our factory’s energy needs.

  • We recycle all used materials (glass, paper, batteries, cardboard packaging, metal objects, wooden pallets, etc.) in collaboration with certified recycling companies.

  • We are undergoing a digital transformation, aiming to reduce paper consumption and improve operational efficiency.

  • We actively participate in environmental awareness initiatives, such as beach cleanups, tree plantings, and waste-reduction sustainability projects.

2. Social Responsibility – Supporting local communities and promoting social cohesion:

  • We support vulnerable social groups through donations to foundations, schools, and non-profit organizations.

  • We welcome visits from schools and educational institutions, giving young people the opportunity to learn about the pharmaceutical sector.

  • We actively participate in social initiatives, such as Race for the Cure, which raises awareness and promotes education about breast cancer.
