CSR HELLAS is an active member of, and contributes to the efforts of the two most important collective bodies regarding the promotion of Responsible Entrepreneurship and corporate Sustainable Development, that is, CSR EUROPE on a European level and the UN GLOBAL COMPACT on a global one.
CSR EUROPE
It is the leading European business network for Corporate Social Responsibiltiy and Responsible Entrepreneurship. With National Partner Organizations (NPOs) all around Europe, CSR HELLAS in Greece being one of them, it supports over 10.000 businesses to make the necessary reformations in their modes of operation and it facilitates their cooperation, with practical solutions for sustainable development as the axis. In the framework of contributing to the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), CSR EUROPE alongside its NPOs are cooperating closely with the European Commission, European leaders and stakeholders, to devise a holistic strategy for a Sustainable Europe 2030.
UN GLOBAL COMPACT (UNGC)
It is the largest global initiative of Corporate Sustainability by the United Nations, calling businesses to align their strategies and operations with the 10 Principles of the UNGC that concern Human Rights, working conditions, the planet and combating corruption, while also asking them to assume initiatives that promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Its primary goal is the global mobilization of businesses and stakeholders in favour of sustainable development, for the creation of a better world. The UNGC operates through National Networks in different countries around the world. CSR HELLAS has been a member of the UNGC since 2004, while in 2008 it begun coordinating the National Network in Greece (Global Compact Network Hellas).
